Fairfax County Trash Pickup for Thanksgiving Day, Next Day
Here's a look at the trash schedule during the Thanksgiving holiday in Fairfax County.

FAIRFAX COUNTY, VA -- Wondering whether there will be trash pickup next week during the Thanksgiving holiday? Here is a message from the county about what to expect:
Please be advised that Thursday, November 24 and Friday, November 25 are both regular solid waste collection days for customers receiving Thursday and Friday collection service for trash and recycling and for customers with previously scheduled collections. All materials should be at the curb by 6 a.m. in order to ensure that they will be collected.
Our administrative office will be closed on Thursday, November 24 and Friday, November 25 for the Thanksgiving holiday. The office will reopen at 7:30 a.m.on Monday, November 28.

The Recycling and Disposal Centers at the I-66 Transfer Station (4618 West Ox Road) and the I-95 Landfill Complex (9850 Furnace Road) will both be closed on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 24. However, both locations will be open on Friday, November 25.
