Update: Injured Man Found Near Anderson Road Remains Hospitalized

FRIDAY UPDATE: Fairfax police continue to investigate an incident where a 60-year-old man was found in the street at 1616 Anderson Road about 7 am. Monday.

Police said there is no indication of a crime or foul play involved in this incident. It appears that the man fell then got up and started walking and collapsed a distance away. The man remains hospitalized, police said.

The man apparently lived in the nearby.

UPDATE: Fairfax County Police have given no additional information about this incident.

We asked the police public information office for more information first thing this morning and received no updates.

ORIGINAL STORY Monday Afternoon: Fairfax County police are investigating an incident Monday morning where  an adult male was found near 1616 Anderson Rd. with trauma to his upper body.

Police received the call about 7 am. Police had no details Monday afternoon. Detectives are still sorting it out, police said.
