Some of the neighbors asked McLean Patch to find out why the Fairfax County fire department was on Westmoreland Street near McLean High School about 9 am Tuesday Morning.
Dan Schmidt, spokesperson for the fire department said there were two incidents:
8:15am Dryer fire in a home along Westmoreland near Church of the Redeemer. Minimal damage.

8:30am Medical call at Westmoreland and Chesterbrook. The person was transported to a hospital. The fire department is not allowed to give details of a person's condition.
