International Coworking Company Signs Lease at 1775 Tysons Boulevard

WeWork will offer office space and amenities such as coffee, fruit water, Internet, printers, conference rooms and more in Tysons.

McLEAN, VA — WeWork has signed a lease at 1775 Tysons Boulevard in Tysons, according to Lerner Enterprises. WeWork will occupy 92,517 square feet in the newest landmark office building in The Corporate Office Centre at Tysons II, Lerner’s master-planned development located in the heart of Fairfax County.

WeWork is an international company that offers working space to those who don't work at a traditional company office. Prices at the Tysons location start at $400 a month for a dedicated desk. Here's a description from the company's Web site about the new Tysons location:

Occupying three floors in an LEED-certified building, WeWork Tysons Corner boasts modern coworking space in a family-friendly area. Tons of great eating options like Shake Shack give you a well-deserved mid-day break, and easy access to parking, bike racks, the Metro, and bus transit make commuting the easiest part of your day. At WeWork Tysons Corner, you can find a true professional home."

No opening date has yet been announced for WeWork at its new Tysons location.

WeWork joins EY (Ernst & Young), CSC, Fogo de Chão, One Medical Group and Atrium Café at 1775 Tysons Boulevard.

"We are very pleased that WeWork chose 1775 Tysons Boulevard and The Corporate Office Centre at Tysons II for its first location in Fairfax County,” stated Mark D. Lerner, a principal of Lerner. “WeWork is at the forefront of a movement to change the way we work, as well as the spaces in which we work. It is the latest example of the many industry-leading companies that have chosen to locate in Tysons II over the years. We are confident that WeWork’s members will enjoy an inspiring work environment and state-of- the-art amenities at 1775, as well as the abundance of amenities within Tysons II,” he added.

Tysons II and Lerner were represented by Brian F. Tucker, Moe H. Hamilton, and John B. Dragelin of Cushman & Wakefield.

Lerner’s newest building in its Tysons II master plan is designed to achieve LEED® Platinum Certification – the first office building in Tysons to do so, according to Lerner Enterprises. The building features a state-of- the-art fitness center, flexible tenant conference center, indoor and outdoor social areas, the Atrium Café, the upcoming Fogo de Chão fine dining restaurant and other appealing amenities. Flexible floor plans from 5,000 square feet up to multi-floor opportunities are available for lease in this iconic office tower.
