Mars Inc. Owners on Forbes Billionaires List

The three owners of McLean-base Mars, Inc. are all listed on the Forbes 2013 Billionaires List.

Forrest Mars, Jr. is listed as having a net worth of $17 billion. He is now 81 years old and resides in Big Horn, WY. He got an MBA from New York University and his undergraduate degree is from Yale. Forrest Mars is No. 36 on the worldwide Forbes Billionaires List in 2013 and is the 17^th wealthiest person in the United States.

Forrest’s sister Jacqueline Mars is tied with her brother at No. 36 on the global Forbes Billionaires List with (and No. 17 in the United States) with an estimated net worth of $17 billion. Jacqueline Mars is 73 years old and lists her residence as The Plains, VA. She graduated from Bryn Mawn College.

Also tied with his siblings is John Mars, 76, whose net worth matches Forrest’s and Jacquelines’. John Mars lives in Jackson, WY and has an undergraduate degree from Yale University.

“Mars is the largest candy company in the world, with $33 billion in (estimated) sales, thanks in part to its $23 billion acquisition of gum maker Wrigley's in 2008,” Forbes reported.
