McLean Crime: McLean Man Charged with DWI, Hit and Run
A McLean man got into an accident directly in front of a police officer and drove away. Details and other recent local crime incident from the Fairfax County Police Department.

HIT AND RUN/DWI, Anderson Road/Dolley Madison Boulevard, 9 p.m. April 29. An officer observed a vehicle crash occur in front of him. One driver allegedly continued to drive away at a slow speed. A 56-year-old from McLean was charged with DWI, refusal to provide breath sample, driving while suspended, eluding, and hit and run.

BURGLARY, 2400 block of Lexington Road, 5 p.m. April 30. A resident reported someone entered the home and stole jewelry. Entry was made through an unlocked rear door.
BURGLARY, 8000 block of Chanute Place, 10:30 p.m. April 30 A resident reported someone entered the home and stole cash. There were no signs of forced entry.
ROBBERY, 7800 block of Tysons Corner Center, 9 p.m. April 30. A 21-year-old reported he was robbed two weeks prior. The victim was approached by two men who demanded money. They took his cash and fled.
BURGLARY, 7500 block of Lee Highway, 9 a.m. April 29. A resident reported someone entered the home but nothing was stolen. Forced entry was made through a rear window.
BURGLARY, 6200 block of Old Dominion Drive, 4:40 a.m. April 29. Officers responded for an alarm and found on open rear door. An employee confirmed many items were stolen to include televisions.

8300 block of Leesburg Pike, two cell phones from business
2600 block of Manhattan Place, camera and lenses from residence
1500 block of Mary Ellen Court, jewelry from residence
1900 block of Chain Bridge Road, cell phone from business
1700 block of Kirby Road, purse from business
6600 block of Moly Drive, GPS from vehicle
