A McLean neighbor sent us this note last night: I was driving to class Thursday (Feb. 23) morning around 11:30 AM when I saw a part of Anderson Rd, off of Chain Bridge Rd., closed by police. I saw a pick-up truck overturned and multiple firetrucks surrounding the area. What are the details to this accident, and was everyone okay?
Fairfax County Police Deparment answer: Although the pickup was overturned, this was a minor crash with minor injury to the pick-up driver. It was caused when one vehicle turned in front of another vehicle.
