25 Felony Charges Filed Against Suspect In 14 Fairfax Co. Burglaries
Fairfax County Police detectives arrested a Maryland man they say was involved in 14 commercial burglaries between Feb. 9 and July 21.

FRANCONIA, VA — A Maryland man faces 25 felony charges in connection to a series of 14 robberies that occurred between Feb. 9 and July 21 in Linconia, McLean, Chantilly, and Springfield, according to Fairfax County Police. An additional suspect remains at large.
Officers responded around 5:46 a.m. on July 20 to the report of a burglary at a plumbing supplies business in the 5600 block of General Washington Drive in Linconia, according to the incident report. Reviewing surveillance footage, investigators determined that two men had broken into the business around 2 a.m., stealing power tools and cash before leaving.
Through their investigation, detectives identified 29-year-old Brian Serious as a suspect in the July 20 burglary, along with 13 other businesses in Linconia, McLean, Chantilly, and Springfield, according to police.

With the help of the U.S. Marshals Capital Area Regional Fugitive Task Force, Fairfax County detectives located and arrested Serious in Clinton, Maryland on Tuesday, authorities say. He was served with 25 active felony warrants in connection to the commercial burglaries.

Police released a surveillance photo of a second suspect wanted in connection to the burglaries.
