MCLEAN, VA — Detectives from the Fairfax County Police Department arrested a 34-year-old Maryland man they say was responsible for 20 incidents of break-ins and larcenies involving vehicles parked in McLean since the beginning of the year, according to authorities.

In the first incident, officers responded around 5:40 a.m. on Jan. 5 to the Westbranch Drive and Westpark Drive intersection to investigate a destruction of property report, according to police.
