MCLEAN, VA — Chesterbrook Shopping Center in McLean recently welcomed two new businesses and plans to celebrate the opening of a third, Le Village Marché, this Friday and the opening of a new veterinary clinic in 2024.

Le Village Marché is a French market-inspired home décor and gift boutique, with curated products for the home, kitchen and garden. Chesterbrook Shopping Center will be the second location in Northern Virginia for the specialty store, which has been operating at The Village at Shirlington in Arlington since 2007.

“Owning a French-inspired gift shop has been a dream of mine since my very first trip to Paris over 20 years ago,” said Angela Phelps, founder and owner of Le Village Marché. “McLean is the perfect place to begin expanding the franchise, and we are thrilled to be opening our doors to a community with so much warmth and charm.”

Last week, J.McLaughlin, a clothing chain with classic fashions for men and women, opened its doors in the shopping center. The brand was founded by two brothers, Kevin and Jay McLaughlin, in 1977.

“We are excited to work with Federal Reality and be a part of the new Chesterbrook development,” said Kevin McLaughlin, co-founder and creative director. “The property is a natural fit for the brand and a great opportunity to expand our presence in this community.”
