NYC's Blazin Chicken & Gyro To Open 2 Locations In Northern Virginia

Blazin will debut its Tysons Station restaurant in early December and open a second location in Fairfax City next year.

TYSONS, VA — New York City’s Blazin Chicken & Gyro will soon be opening its first two locations in the DMV, one in Falls Church and the other in Fairfax City.

Known for its hip and vibrant dining experience, Blazin will debut its 1,849-square-foot restaurant in Tysons Station in early December. Then, in early 2025, the second location will open in a 1,815-square-foot space at the Westfair Center in Fairfax City’s Kamp Washington neighborhood.

Blazin’s menu will offer freshly prepared Halal meats, gyros, burgers, “Phillies,” subs, wings, chicken tenders, waffles, crepes, milkshakes, and more, according to a release.

“Blazin Chicken & Gyro has quickly become a popular fast casual restaurant in New York City,” said Waseem Rana, Blazin owner. “Now that it is expanding outside the New York Tri-state area, I’m excited to bring this new dining concept to the Washington, D.C. region and partner with a commercial real estate leader like Federal Realty.”

A grand opening celebration at Tysons Station is scheduled for early December. Blazin will provide complimentary food, juices, milkshakes and more to customers.

The hours of operation for both new Blazin restaurants will be Sunday-Wednesday: 10:30 a.m.-3 a.m. and Thursday-Saturday: 10:30 a.m. – 4 a.m.

When Blazin's Fairfax City location opens next year, it will join The Alley, a boba tea restaurant that began serving customers last week.

In addition, Haraz Coffee House is slated to open in the space between The Alley and Blazin in Westfair. Founded in Dearborn, Michigan, the Yemeni coffee chain has expanded to 10 locations across the U.S. and plans to open 14 more.
