Opening Day Treats Planned At New McLean Eatery

MCLEAN, VA — Sweetgreen will be celebrating the Nov. 11 opening of its new Chesterbrook Shopping Center location with special treats for its customers.

Guests will be able to build their own flower bar by Elegant Lollies and receive Coffee & Matcha from Cha Coffee Co, as well as Sweetgreen hats, providing them with a memorable way to celebrate the occasion. These treats will be available from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. while supplies last.

In addition, for every meal purchased on opening day, Sweetgreen will donate a meal to Food for Others to nourish people in Northern Virginia experiencing food insecurity.

Sweetgreen's new 2,571-square-foot location at 6220 Old Dominion Drive will be open daily from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Guests at Sweetgreen can order miso glazed salmon, with avocado, cucumbers, pickled onions, crispy onions, white rice, nori sesame seasoning, and spicy cashew. (Sweetgreen)

"Sweetgreen serves up its fan-favorite salads, warm bowls, protein plates, and sides, including the Harvest Bowl, Crispy Rice Bowl, Caramelized Garlic Steak, and Miso Glazed Salmon," according to a release. "Guests can also delight in the limited-time Fall Seasonal Menu, marking the return of Sweetgreen’s beloved Autumn Harvest Bowl, complemented by new fall-forward creations highlighting jammy roasted tomatoes, candied pumpkin seeds, and maple-glazed Brussels sprouts."
