Opening Delayed At New McLean Eatery

MCLEAN, VA — The new Sweetgreen in McLean's Chesterbrook Shopping Center will not be opening on Tuesday as originally planned, according to a company spokesman.

Members of the Sweetgreen team are finalizing an updated timeline for the new restaurant and expect to release more details later this week.

Sweetgreen's new 2,571-square-foot location at 6220 Old Dominion Drive will be open daily from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.

"Sweetgreen serves up its fan-favorite salads, warm bowls, protein plates, and sides, including the Harvest Bowl, Crispy Rice Bowl, Caramelized Garlic Steak, and Miso Glazed Salmon," according to a release. "Guests can also delight in the limited-time Fall Seasonal Menu, marking the return of Sweetgreen’s beloved Autumn Harvest Bowl, complemented by new fall-forward creations highlighting jammy roasted tomatoes, candied pumpkin seeds, and maple-glazed Brussels sprouts."
