McLean Kids Painting in the Park - A Photo Album

Monet would have loved it!

The McLean Project for the Arts is celebrating it's 50th birthday, with a movable and ongoing birthday party around McLean.

Sunday was Painting in the Park, a free art bonanza for the kids --- and the parents too. There was butterfly making, cupcake making (for eating too). Lots of paints, glue, sparkle and happy little hands.

"We are thrilled to be able to present Painting in the Park in honor or our 50th anniversary," said MPA executive director Nancy Perry.

"It's a great way to give back to the families that have been involved (with MPA) for the last 50 years," said MPA board member Vance Zavela, who was there with his family.

Here's the photo album from the fun in McLean Central Park. If you have photos to share please add them to the Community Gallery to share with the neighbors.
