Virginia church rallies behind Iranian-born sisters seized by immigration agents for deportation (episcopalnewsservice.org) — Members of St. Thomas Episcopal Church in McLean are rallying behind two Iranian-born sisters from their congregation who were detained by federal immigration agents and face deportation. The women, active in church ministries since 2022, are now in a Florida detention center while their lawyer fights for their release and the right to continue their asylum cases.
