Santa Arrives at Tysons

McLEAN, VA -- Santa Claus is coming to town -- sooner than you think. The Jolly Old Elf has arrived at Tysons Corner Center, with plans to stick around through Christmas Eve. He will be available to chat with your little one about that all-important holiday wish list and take photos.

Here's all the scoop on his visit to the area: Santa will be available for photos and visits at his headquarters presented by HGTV, located in Fashion Court, near Nordstrom and Bloomingdales. Reservations are available but not required.

Some of the features this year include online reservations, "elf-ray vision," Naughty-or-Nice 'O Meter and Holiday Fun photos.

Hours are:

• Nov. 11 - Dec. 11: Monday-Saturday: 10 a.m.-8 p.m. (breaks: 1-2 p.m. and 5-6 p.m.) Sundays: 11 a.m.-7 p.m. (break: 3-4 p.m.)
• Nov. 24: (Thanksgiving): Closed
• Dec. 12-23: Monday-Friday: 9 a.m.-8 p.m. (Breaks: 1-2 p.m. and 5-6 p.m.)
• Dec. 24 Christmas Eve: Saturday: 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. (breaks: 1-2 p.m. and 5-6 p.m.)

Make reservations here. A special Annual Breakfast with Santa is scheduled for Dec. 4 from 8-10 a.m.
