Sweet Honey In The Rock To Perform At The Alden Theater In McLean
The legendary a cappella ensemble Sweet Honey in the Rock will be appearing at The Alden theater at the McLean Community Center on Feb. 11.

MCLEAN, VA — The legendary a cappella ensemble Sweet Honey in the Rock will be appearing at The Alden at the McLean Community Center in February as part of the theater’s celebration of Black History Month.
The concert, at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 11, is the first stop on Sweet Honey in the Rock’s three-year, 50th anniversary celebration tour.
Founded in Washington, D.C., in 1973 by Dr. Bernice Johnson Reagon as part of the D.C. Black Repertory Theater Company with Carol Maillard, Louise Robinson and Mie, Sweet Honey in the Rock has evolved into an international ambassador of a cappella music.

Tickets for the concert are $45 for the general public, $30 for McLean Community Center tax district residents, and $35 for students and seniors. The Alden is located at 1234 Ingleside Ave. in McLean.
