Each week we've suggested way to relax including getting a manicure, a massage or a new makeover. This week, we're offering a "Great Escape" that you can indulge in with your children.
There must be something therapeutic about holding a paintbrush.
At Color Me Mine, located at 4209 Fairfax Corner Ave. East, in
Fairfax Corner, adults and children get to select their own piece of unglazed pottery - and choices run the gamut from tissue box holders to coffee mugs - and then paint it to their hearts desire.
A purple-and-pink spotted dinner plate? Perfect. A zebra-striped candy dish? Lovely. You're only limited by your own imagination.
The prices on different pottery pieces vary. Color Me Mine also charges a $12 studio fee for adults and an $8 studio fee for children. Visit their website for more information.
