Top McLean Realtor Team Joins Chantilly-Based Samson Properties

MCLEAN, VA — Stansfield Signature, a real estate team in McLean, has joined forces with Samson Properties, with the goal of growing its business using the tools that Samson can provide.

Led by Joan Stansfield, CEO and owner, and her colleague Dana Moore Jackins, Stansfield Signature helped more than 90 clients in 2022, totaling more than $41 million in real estate transactions.

Stansfield and Jackins decided to leave Keller Williams, one of the largest brokerages, for Samson Properties, a local independently owned brokerage. Stansfield Signature is especially strong in the McLean and Tysons real estate market. The team has also been increasingly moving into the Maryland market, especially growing its presence in the Annapolis area.

“Joan and Dana with Stansfield Signature bring energy and knowledge to real estate, so it was a natural fit from the first meeting,” Donny Samson, CEO of Samson Properties, said in a statement Wednesday. “We are so excited to have them at Samson and watch them continue to be a powerful force in the marketplace.”

Headquartered in Chantilly, Samson Properties is a 100-percent commission brokerage, with more than 5,500 agents. The company is licensed in Virginia, Maryland, Washington, D.C, West Virginia, Pennsylvania and Delaware and has 34 office locations.

Joan Stansfield started off at Long & Foster, where she achieved “Rookie of the Year” in 2007, before moving to Keller Williams in 2011, where she was named the No. 1 solo agent out of more than 300 agents.

In 2022, Stansfield Signature, which is licensed in Virginia, Maryland and Washington, D.C., donated gifts and monetary contributions totaling more than $50,000 to their six favorite charities and others.
