Will Carly Fiorina Challenge Tim Kaine in 2018 Senate Race?
Fiorina is going to be speaking in McLean next week at a Northern Virginia Chamber-hosted event.

McLEAN, VA -- Is Carly Fiorina planning a challenge to U.S. Sen. Tim Kaine in 2018? The Fairfax County resident who ran in the GOP presidential primary was rumored to be considering a run if Hillary Clinton and Tim Kaine had won the presidential election, according to Politico. It's uncertain what her plans are now. She challenged California Sen. Barbara Boxer in a high-profile campaign in 2010, losing the race after receiving 42 percent of the vote.
Fiorina became a resident of Virginia in 2011, after she and her husband Frank purchased a mansion for $6.1 million (it was listed for $7.8 million) in the Mason Neck area of Fairfax County, according to Washingtonian magazine.
In any case, Fiorina is upping her profile in the Commonwealth with appearances like the one she's making Monday in McLean. She'll be speaking about "Lessons in Leadership" from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Hilton McLean Tysons Corner, hosted by the Northern Virginia Chamber of Commerce. The venue is located at 7920 Jones Branch Dr. in McLean.
