Winter Restaurant Week 2017 Lineup Announced for Metro DC Area

Diners can now view menus and book reservations for participating restaurants in DC, Northern Virginia and Maryland.

The Restaurant Association Metropolitan Washington recently announced the restaurants that will be participating in its annual Winter Restaurant Week across the DC metro region. The special week, which offers lunch and dinner deals to diners, is scheduled from Monday, Jan. 30 through Sunday, Feb. 5. The event encourages locals and visitors alike to dine out, eat up and support local businesses.

Restaurants in DC, Maryland, and Virginia will serve up three-course meals, with dinner menus available for $35, lunch menus available for $22, and new this year, brunch available for $22, with a total of 250 restaurants participating.

New this year, Restaurant Week diners can also dig into $22 brunch menus from more than 50 restaurants spanning an array of cuisines, from Balkan to Japanese to American seafood. With restaurants across metropolitan Washington offering brunch, diners can visit neighborhood favorites or explore new restaurantsin neighborhoods stretching from South Riding to Arlington.

Restaurants participating in Restaurant Week for the first time include: Ambar in Arlington; Grilled Oyster Company in Cathedral Commons; Dirty Habit and Farmers and Distillers in downtown DC; Aperto in Foggy Bottom; The Bird in Logan Circle; TenPenh in Tysons Corner and upscale dining on the Potomac, Odyssey Cruises. Restaurant Week provides an opportunity for guests to visit many of the 2016 RAMMY Awards restaurant nominees, who were recognized by RAMW in June for their excellence in service and dining. Among the Restaurant Week participants are 2016 RAMMY nominees: Casa Luca, Charlie Palmer Steak, Del Campo, G by Mike Isabella, Kapnos, PassionFish - Reston, Rasika, Sushiko, TICO and Vinoteca.
