It's National Pi Day!
National Pi Day occurs annually on March 14 - 3.14, the first three digits of pi, which is equal to the ratio of the circumference of a circle to its diameter. Want to know more? Ask your FCPS student - there is a good chance they are marking the day with a Pi contest (or a Pie contest. It's all about the snacks, too) or visit PIDAY.ORG
The recognition of Pi Day was actually passed by Congress in 2009.
