Convenience Store Robbed at Gunpoint Monday Morning on Richmond Highway: Police
Police located the suspects' car, and pursued it into another jurisdiction; the car was later found abandoned in Washington, D.C.

FAIRFAX COUNTY, VA -- A convenience store was held up at gunpoint early Monday in the 8600 block of Richmond Highway, according to Fairfax County Police. Two men entered the store around 3 a.m. and one of them displayed a handgun and demanded cash, according to police. Both suspects fled with an undisclosed amount of money in a four-door black sedan, police said.
Officers checking the area located the vehicle and attempted to stop it. A traffic pursuit was initiated and traveled into another jurisdiction. The vehicle was located abandoned in Washington, D.C. The investigation continues. No one required medical attention.
