"On this solemn day, we honor the life and sacrifice of Detective Christopher Ridley, who gave his life serving and protecting others. His story is one of bravery and selflessness — a young officer who stepped forward to aid others in need even while off duty. The memorial outside the Michaelian Office Building is a permanent tribute to his legacy, reminding us of his heroism and our community's immense loss. It is a place of reflection and gratitude where residents can honor Detective Ridley and all who serve with courage and integrity.
