Man Robbed Friday Night on Richmond Highway: Police
Police say that three men assaulted and robbed a 63-year old man who was walking along Richmond Highway late Friday night.
FAIRFAX COUNTY, VA -- Fairfax County Police say a pedestrian was assaulted and robbed late Friday night on Richmond Highway by three men.
The incident took place Friday at about 10:26 p.m. in the 8300 block of Richmond Highway (see map below) police said.
A 63-year-old man reported that while walking on the sidewalk, he was approached by three men who demanded money, police said. One suspect assaulted the victim and all three fled on foot, according to police. The victim was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
