Occasionally Cake Donates Cake to USO Metro Annual Awards Dinner

Owner Sabrina Campbell donated $6,000 worth of product.

Occasionally Cake of Mount Vernon and Old Town donated more than $6,000 of cake and cookies to support the servicemen and women at the USO-Metro Annual Awards Ceremony in Arlington on March 14.

A “Stars and Stripes” centerpiece cake and star-shaped takeaway cookies by Occasionally Cake were on the dessert menu.

“My grandfather and uncle were both part of the U.S. Navy, so it’s with great pride that I’m able to support USO-Metro in their efforts to help the military and their families,” Occasionally Cake owner Sabrina Campbell said in a statement. “We are thrilled to be part of the annual awards ceremony where we can help pay tribute to service members that sacrifice so much for us."
