City Of Norfolk: Norfolk Police Arrest Suspect Following Hit-And-Run Crash On E. Little Creek Road

NORFOLK, Va. (NPD) – A man has died after being hit by a car on E. Little Creek Road Tuesday night.

On March 1, 2022, around 8:45 p.m., police were called to the 1700 block of E. Little Creek Road for the report of a pedestrian being hit by a car. When Officers arrived, they found the pedestrian suffering from life-threatening injuries. 

The man, identified as 52-year-old James P. Schilo, was pronounced dead at the scene.

As a result of their investigation, Detectives charged David A. Parker, 52, of Norfolk, with hit-and-run fatality. Parker is currently being held in Norfolk City Jail without bond.
