NORFOLK, Va. (NPD) – Detectives are continuing to investigate the early morning hit-and-run accident that has left a 33-year-old man dead.

On February 4, 2022, around 3:45 a.m., police responded to the 1500 block of Tidewater Drive for the report of a person who had been hit by a car. The preliminary investigation revealed that the man was hit by a car that fled the scene before police arrived.
The man, identified as Nathaniel Walton Jr., of Norfolk, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
