Giving back is at the core of our mission at Digital Retail Partners (DRP), and we actively collaborate with organizations that drive positive change in the community. In early 2023, the DRP team discovered Heart & Harper, owned by a remarkable 10-year-old girl, Paisley-Kate. She’s on a mission to BRING BACK KINDNESS by donating 100% of net profits from selling handmade bracelets and clothing to various causes.
We have cheered her on watching her business grow and advocate for the special needs community powered by her desire to support her brother with Autism. Paisley-Kate and her mother work tirelessly to make a difference, and their unwavering dedication and passion are a driving force helping to transform the world.
To ensure that everyone could feel the magic of Heart & Harper, we donated a brand new Shopify website to this amazing little girl. Heart & Harper gave us something special in return. We are thrilled to announce our own collection of featured bracelets, t-shirts, and accessories to benefit an organization near and dear to our hearts. The NEW Heart & Harper x DRP Collection proceeds will be donated to Court Appointed Special Advocates, Inc. (CASA) of Virginia Beach. CASA recruits, trains, and supports volunteers to advocate for child victims of abuse and neglect who are too young to speak for themselves in the complicated family legal system. DRP Founder, Debra Lutsky serves as an active board member and advocate.
A CASA volunteer is appointed through the juvenile and domestic relations court to a
child or sibling group who are experiencing difficult family situations, abuse and neglect. They visit with a child each week and they provide feedback to the judge and court on how the child is doing in the home. A very vital service for families in crisis.
2024 will mark the organization’s 30th Anniversary in Virginia Beach and to commemorate that
milestone, they are kicking off a 30th Anniversary Campaign. Funds will help CASA grow their volunteer base from 74 to 100 and serve more children and families in Virginia Beach, as there is unfortunately a great demand.
Just a few stats about CASA from this past year:
• 133 children were served
• 6,262 hours of advocacy were provided by CASA volunteers
• 65 volunteer advocates (CASAs) –now they have 74
• 30,852 miles where traveled by volunteers to see children in their home
• 97% of the CASA recommendations were accepted by the court
• 47 children achieved permanency, which is a safe home to live in

“I can’t express how inspiring this collaboration is. Not only is it impressive that Paisley-Kate at such a young age has such a generous heart but Digital Retail Partners has also donated their time, talent and treasure to help this organization succeed at spreading kindness. Thank you DRP for supporting VB CASA and impacting so many children! This is truly an amazing way to celebrate the holiday season and spread kindness!” – Kate Kosky, Chief Executive Officer of Virginia Beach CASA
