VFW Day of Service Blood Drive April 30 - Volunteers Needed!

VFW announces its fourth annual National Day of Service and the Hampton VFW Post 3219 will host a blood drive to for its event. The public is encouraged to come out and contribute. The event is in partnership with the American Red Cross and is to support community health and address the ongoing need for blood donations.

The blood drive takes place on Wednesday, April 30, 2025, at 1 p.m. at 122 E. Mellen St., in Hampton. If you are interested in participating, you can contact Joe Perkins at 757-723-2667 or cdrpost3219@vfwva.org.

VFW Day of Service brings together veterans and community members and emphasizes the important role veterans play in their community as leaders and volunteers. VFW Day of Service 2025 includes 1,500 events around the country, triple the number of events last year.
