Virginia Beach’s First Luxury Dog Resort Open for Business
K9 Resorts Luxury Pet Hotel's opens first location in the state of Virginia.
On Saturday, Feb. 18, K9 Resorts Luxury Pet Hotel of Virginia Beach opened its doors to the local community, giving residents access to nearly 10,000 sq. ft. of luxury amenities for their beloved dogs. Referred to as the Ritz-Carlton of dog hotels, these resorts are designed with the health and comfort of their four-legged guests in mind. Located in Hilltop, off First Colonial near Walmart, this is the first K9 Resorts Luxury Pet Hotel in the state of Virginia.
The facilities include flat screen televisions, chandeliers, Italian tile flooring, plush executive suites and other state-of-the-art resort-style amenities. Pets are cared for by a well-trained, attentive staff while enjoying industry-leading, luxury accommodations that include a hospital-grade air purification system, premium Kuranda dog bedding and Microban built into the floors.
Over 100 grand opening guests joined in the festivities for a ribbon cutting ceremony, tours of the new facility and food served from local favorite TASTE.

Christina Jensen and Walter Easterbrook, the latter a former U.S Marine, are the owners of K9 Resorts of VA Beach. Christina will serve as the location’s general manager. The location is expected to add 23 jobs to the local economy immediately and can accommodate 75 dogs for boarding and 115 dogs for daycare.
