Alexandria Man Dies After Crashing Truck Into Tree In Oakton: Police
An Alexandria man died from injuries in a crash on Lawyers Road in Oakton last Wednesday, police said.
OAKTON, VA — An Alexandria man died from injuries in a crash on Lawyers Road in Oakton on March 30, according to the Fairfax County Police Department.
Thomas Peregoy, 78, was driving eastbound on Lawyers Road near Kedge Drive around 2 p.m. last Wednesday when his 2014 Toyota Tacoma drifted off the roadway to the right, striking a tree head on, police said.
Peregoy was taken to a hospital, where he later died from his injuries. Speed and alcohol do not appear to be factors in the crash, according to police.
