Shop At Main Street Market To Support Old Town Fairfax Business Owners

Sunday's Main Street Market in Old Town Fairfax is the last chance to support local businesses experiencing a decline in holiday sales.

FAIRFAX CITY, VA — Anyone looking to grab a last-minute Christmas gift who wants to support Fairfax City business owners should swing by the final c of the season on Sunday.

More than 15 vendors will be selling vintage/handmade goods and holiday gifts from 12 to 4 p.m., at 10415 North St. in Old Town Fairfax. The market is admission free and dog-friendly. Parking is also plentiful.

The market isn't just a fun holiday thing to do, it's also a boost to many local businesses that are struggling survive in a tough economy.

"This feels vulnerable to share, but we want to be open with you," Mode on Main by Mara posted on its Instagram account on Wednesday. "Right now, we’re at 611 orders from November 1st till now. Our goal is 1,000. And there are 8 days left until Christmas."

Mode on Main specializes in selling new, as well as vintage and pre-loved jewelry and clothing.

"Reaching 1,000 orders means we can continue into 2026 — keep our doors open, support our team, and keep this small, local space alive on Main Street," the Instagram post continued. "If you’ve shopped with us this season, thank you more than we can say If you’ve shared us, talked about us, or supported us in any way, that matters deeply.And if you’ve been thinking about placing an order, now’s the time."

For those who can't make it to Sunday's Main Street Market, Mode on Main by Mara has an online store as well.
