Stuart Mill Closure Scheduled for Feb. 22-24

From VDOT: Stuart Mill Road (Route 669) between Colt Run Road and Bridge Hill Lane will be closed to through traffic Wednesday, Feb. 22 through Friday, Feb. 24 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day for stormwater pipe replacement, according to the Virginia Department of Transportation.

The following detours will be in place during the closures:

• Detour 1: Fox Mill Road and Vale Road back to Stuart Mill Road (Route 671)
• Detour 2: Fox Mill Road, Steeplechase Drive, Lawyers Road and Birdfoot Lane back to Stuart Mill Road

Residents within the closure area, emergency vehicles and school buses will continue to have access to Stuart Mill Road; however, they will not be able to go beyond the point of pipe replacement in either direction.

All work is weather permitting.
