After starting the season 6-0, the Oakton High volleyball lost its first match of the season to Broad Run in a 3-0 sweep.
The Cougars lost the match in 25-20, 25-9 and 25-15 sets.
Abby Mills led the Cougars with 12 kills, as her fellow outside hitter Misa Mori racked up eight kills. Setter Emma Olson led the team in assists with 18, while libero Christina Williams notched a team-high 14 digs.
