City Hosts Summer Career Fair in June

More than 40 employers representing financial institutions, local governments, education, hospitality, construction, food service and other fields are scheduled to participate in the Summer Career Fair hosted by JobLink, the city's career center.

The event will take place June 5 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at The Activity Center, 2932 King St., Building Entrance No. 4 in Alexandria.

Job seekers will be able to talk with employers, apply for vacancies and, in some cases, interview for positions. The city recommends professional attire for attendees. Job seekers should bring copies of their resumes for distribution.
