Alexandria Man Tied To Road Rage Incident With Shooting
State police say an Alexandria man was the suspect in two road rage incidents, including one with a gun fired.

ALEXANDRIA, VA — Two road rage incidents with guns have led to charges for an Alexandria man, according to Maryland State Police.
Perry Ellis Barmore, 34, of Alexandria, was first identified as the suspect in a Feb. 25 incident on the Capital Beltway Outer Loop in the area of the Woodrow Wilson Bridge. The victim told police that a driver in a gray Jeep pointed a gun at them during a road rage encounter. The victim was not injured.
State troopers identified Barmore as the suspect and charged him with felony use of a firearm and two counts of second-degree assault. A search warrant by Alexandria Police led to the seizure of a loaded handgun. He was arrested and released to home detention on March 14.

The continuing investigation linked Barmore to an Aug. 24, 2024 road rage incident on Maryland Route 202 near White House Road in the Kettering area of Prince George's County. The victim told police that a gray Jeep driver shot at him during a road rage encounter. The victim was not injured.
Last Friday, Maryland authorities and U.S. marshals arrested Barmore and charged him with attempted murder, felony assault and firearm-related charges. He is awaiting extradition to Maryland.
