Alexandria Woman Scores $443K Jackpot In Virginia Lottery Game
An Alexandria woman's favorite online lottery game paid off for her, as she won a jackpot totaling over $443,000.
ALEXANDRIA, VA — Kendrea Linton has experienced good luck in her favorite Virginia Lottery online game, given that she has won prizes before. But she didn't expect to win the jackpot.
Linton, an Alexandria resident who works in finance, scored the $433,343 jackpot in The Lamp online game after arriving home from work.
"I saw it and said, ‘Oh my gosh, I really did win!’" Linton told Virginia Lottery officials.

Linton plans to put her winnings toward retirement.
The Lamp is one of dozens of online games the Virginia Lottery offers to adults physically located in Virginia. The game has a progressive, growing jackpot, and the chances of winning any prize in the game are 1 in 3.55.
