Chamber Names Chef Armstrong 'Business Leader of the Year'

Eat Good Food Group Chef Cathal Armstrong has been named “Business Leader of the Year” by the Alexandria Chamber of Commerce.

Chef Armstrong was selected for the chamber’s top business award as a “result of the enormous respect he receives within the business community for his dedication and exemplary leadership,” according to the chamber.

The Alexandria-based Eat Good Food Group includes restaurants , , , , PX and Bar TNT.

The Eat Good Food group sources local ingredients and promotes sustainability, while conducting charitable efforts such as Chefs As Parents and Fresh Farm Markets.

The chamber will honor Armstrong on Nov. 13 during its annual Business Awards reception.
