City Asks Commercial Property Owners to Submit Data Online

In the past, the city has mailed paper forms and required owners to return them by mail. The online survey must be completed by May 1.

The City of Alexandria is now offering an online filing system to collect income and expense information from commercial property owners to assist in making annual fair market value assessments.

In the past, the city mailed out paper forms and required owners to return them by mail.

Next year, the city will provide owners with the information that they filed the previous year, so it will only be necessary for commercial property owners to update information that has changed in the past year—rather than filing an entire new submission.
