City Pools Return to Limited Schedule

Beginning Monday, Aug. 22, outdoor pools maintained by the City of Alexandria will return to a limited schedule.

The John Ewald Pool at 4500 Duke St. will close for the season on Friday, Aug. 19 at 6 p.m.

The remaining city pools will be open through Monday, Sept. 6 as follows:

• The Memorial Pool

  • Operating Hours August 22 - September 2:
    • Monday - Friday: Noon to 6 p.m.
  • Extended Hours:
    • Tuesday & Thursday: 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.
    • Saturday: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
    • Sunday: Noon to 6 p.m
• Old Town Pool

  • Operating Hours August 22 - September 2:
    • Monday – Friday from 4 p.m. – 7 p.m.
    • Weekends & Labor Day from noon – 7 p.m.
• Warwick Pool
