Dec. 16 - An embezzlement case is under investigation in the 300 block of Commerce St. It occurred around 9:45 a.m.
Dec. 15 – A theft from a vehicle was reported in the 1100 block of First St.

Dec. 15 – A robbery occurred at the 1200 block Braddock Pl., and an arrest was made. An unknown subject stopped the victim who was walking home from the metro in this area and asked the victim for money. The victim took money from his wallet and gave it to subject who immediately fled the scene at 9:55 p.m.
Dec. 15 - A theft was reported in the 900 block of Wythe St.
Dec. 15 – An unknown subject began patting down a victim in the 600 block of N. St. Asaph St. asking him for money in a lobby of an apartment building. The victim got on the elevator and into his apartment and called police. The subject fled the scene.
Dec. 14 - An unknown suspect entered the victim's unlocked vehicle and stole the GPS unit and coins from the vehicle parked in the lot next to his residence at 400 block of Mt. Vernon Ave around 9:43 a.m. The case is pending.
Dec. 14 - A sexual offense was reported in the 100 block of N. Washington St. around 9:56 a.m. Details of this case are not available to protect the victim's privacy. An arrest was made.
Dec 14 - A victim reported that an unknown suspect used personal credit card information to make fraudulent purchases in the 1000 block of King St. around 1:49 p.m. The case is pending.
Dec. 13 – A burglary was reported in the 100 block S. Union St at 7:54 a.m. The case is pending. An unknown suspect entered a construction site, probably through opening in upper part of building, and stole heavy construction tools belonging to workers at this location.
Dec. 13 – A victim reported that an unknown suspect stole her front license plate from her car as it was parked on Earl and Princess streets around 3:04 p.m.
