CVS Armed Robbery in Alexandria: Police Release Photos of Suspect

Do you recognize the man in the surveillance photos? Police want to hear from you.

ALEXANDRIA, VA -- The Alexandria Police Department released surveillance photos Wednesday of a suspect in the Sept. 1 armed robbery of the CVS Pharmacy at 5101 Duke St. in Alexandria.

The robbery took place Thursday, Sept. 1 at 2:42 a.m., when a man entered the store and implied that he had a weapon, police said. He demanded money, the cashier complied and the suspect fled with an undisclosed amount of cash, according to police. No one was injured, police said.

The suspect is described as a white male between 5'9" and 6' tall, 190-220 pounds with brown hair, according to police. He has tattoos on his right arm, police said.
