UPDATE: One Lane Open on Duke Street, After Dump Truck Flips in Alexandria

ALEXANDRIA, VA -- A dump truck coming down Quaker Lane flipped over Thursday afternoon while trying to turn east onto Duke Street, partially closing down Duke at the intersection, according to police and eyewitnesses.

One last eastbound is now getting by, police reported at about 1:30 p.m.

The tractor trailer is partially blocking the eastbound lanes on Duke Street at Quaker Lane. Drivers coming from the West End of Alexandria heading east on Duke were being directed up Quaker Lane.
