Home Decor And Art Store Eries Interiors Holds Grand Opening In Old Town Alexandria

ALEXANDRIA, VA — Old Town Alexandria shoppers have a new option to browse home decor, art and housewares.

Eries Interiors held its grand opening and ribbon cutting Friday at 101 S Saint Asaph Street, Alexandria, VA, just around the corner from King Street. The store from founder Jessica Moak and co-founder/artist Elena Rall specializes in a unique collection of original art, home decor, and housewares.

"I’ve aspired to bring this vision to life in our beautiful community since moving to Old Town over
a decade ago," said Moak. "This is a diverse and eclectic town that celebrates sincerity in artistry and craftsmanship. Each Eries piece has been selected to honor these values and the people of Alexandria."

The name Eries Interiors is a nod to the canal near where the co-founders grew up in central New York as well as their families and the natural beauty inspiring their creative ventures.

Rall contributes original artwork to the store, including impressionist, pop art, and abstract expressionist paintings. The artist seeks to pay homage to local landmarks and explore themes surrounding the human body.

"Old Town Alexandria is known for its rich history and cultural vibrancy," said Rall. "We're excited to contribute to this one of a kind community by offering a space where art and lifestyle converge to create something uniquely beautiful."

Other items in the store include home decor and houseware in a range of styles, such as serveware, barware, candles, textiles and more. Eries Interiors also has space and gift curation for those looking to design a room or choose a gift.

Current hours are Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 5 p.m.
