Undercover Arrest Of Fentanyl Distributor Leads To Prison Sentence
A man has been sentenced after selling fentanyl to undercover police sources in Alexandria and Woodbridge.

ALEXANDRIA, VA — An Alexandria man was sentenced last week for his role in fentanyl distributions in Alexandria and Woodbridge, federal prosecutors say. He was arrested on separate charges from an Arlington County confrontation with a gun threatening two women.
Alphonso Page, 35, of Alexandria, received a 14-year prison sentence for distribution of fentanyl, which is a potent opioid that can cause overdoses in small amounts.
According to court documents, law enforcement had identified Page, also known by the nicknames "Zoe" and "Fonzie," as a narcotics distributor in Northern Virginia. Law enforcement purchased 2,300 counterfeit pills containing fentanyl from Page on March 14, 2024, and April 2, 2024.

The March 14, 2024, undercover operation happened in Alexandria. An affidavit from an FBI agent said Page agreed to meet with an undercover law enforcement source on Yoakum Parkway in Alexandria. Page agreed to sell 2,000 pills to the source, who recorded the transaction. Page gave the source 1,300 of the pills.
Court documents show the April 2, 2024, drug deal happened on Cridercrest Place in Woodbridge. Page directed the law enforcement source to Dara Drive in Woodbridge and sent a video of the pills saying "Joints right here bruh." The source met with Page at an apartment complex, where Page turned over 1,000 pills.

The blue pills were marked with an "M" on one side and "30" on the other side. Laboratory testing confirmed the pills contained fentanyl.
Page was arrested on May 2, 2024, when Arlington County Police responded to a call about Page threatening a woman and their daughter with a gun at The Shelton apartments. According to the affidavit, a confrontation ensued while the daughter and granddaughter were splashing water, and Page was accidentally splashed.
The woman said Page then bought a drink from a convenience store and poured it on the daughter, leading to an argument and threatening statements by Page. The woman reported that Page threatened to shoot and kill them and took out a gun during the confrontation.
After Page fled in a BMW, Arlington County officers stopped the vehicle on Interstate 395. Police searched the vehicle and found $18,000, two guns, about one pound of marijuana and five cell phones, two of which Page said belonged to him. Three passengers were in the vehicle. The Arlington County arrest led to charges of possession with intent to distribute marijuana, as well possession and brandishing of a firearm.
Prosecutors noted Page has a criminal history of drug-related convictions and other charges. Page was convicted of distribution of cocaine and the distribution of an imitation controlled substance on March 14, 2008, and possession with intent to distribute cocaine on July 16, 2018, both in Arlington County. Other previous convictions were for conducting an illegal gambling operation, trespassing, identity theft, petit larceny, maliciously shooting at a dwelling, and the possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
