ALEXANDRIA, VA — If you believe there's not much to do in town after Alexandria's packed holiday season, think again. Visit Alexandria has announced a lineup of events happening throughout the 2025 winter season.

The winter season lasts through March 19, so we're counting events in early March. The highlights of the season are two parade days — the George Washington Birthday Parade in February and the Alexandria St. Patrick’s Day Parade in March. February may be the shortest month, but there are numerous George Washington Birthday events in February, plus Black History Month observations.

Other event highlights are Alexandria Restaurant Week, Alexandria Boutique Warehouse Sale, the Official Onesie Bar Crawl, Port City Brewing Company 14th Anniversary and The Official Lucky's St. Patrick's Day Bar Crawl.
