Man Arrested For Indecent Exposure On Alexandria MetroBus

An Alexandria man was arrested for alleged indecent exposure, assault and possession of marijuana on an Alexandria MetroBus.

ALEXANDRIA, VA — An Alexandria man was arrested by Metro Transit Police Thursday for alleged indecent exposure and assault aboard a Metrobus train.

Police said Dwayne Henry Walker, 48, boarded the 7A Metrobus at the Pentagon Transit Center around 4 p.m. and sat next to the female victim.

The woman told police she felt Walker leaning against her, so she changed her position to avoid contact. Walker then leaned his body against the victim and she realized he was masturbating, police said.

The victim confronted the suspect, stood up and walked to the front of the bus to notify the operator. Police were dispatched to the intersection of North Beauregard Street and Fillmore Avenue.

A short time later, patrol officers from the Alexandria Police Department located a subject matching the description of the offender. Walker was positively identified by the victim and arrested on preliminary charges of indecent exposure, assault and battery,and possession of marijuana, police said.

Walker has four prior arrests for indecent exposure since 2015, three of which were by Metro Transit Police.
