Metro Employee Attacked At Metro Station In Alexandria, Suspect Wanted

Metro Transit Police are seeking information on an assault on a Metro station manager in Alexandria.

ALEXANDRIA, VA — Metro Transit Police are seeking a suspect for an assault of a Metro station manager in Alexandria Sunday.

The assault happened around 10 a.m. Sunday at the Braddock Road Metro station (77 N. West Street), which is on the Blue and Yellow Lines. Police are classifying the incident as a malicious wounding. The employee has a significant injury from the assault.

Surveillance footage of the suspect has been shared by Metro Transit Police. Anyone who knows the suspect's identity or has any information can contact 202-962-2121 or text MYMTPD (696873).
