Mobile DMV Unit in Old Town on Thursday
The Department of Motor Vehicles' DMV 2 Go unit will be parked in front of City Hall on Thursday, saving residents a trip to the Alexandria branch of the DMV.

The City of Alexandria and the Virginia DMV have teamed to bring DMV services into the center of town on Thursday, when DMV 2 Go is parked in Old Town from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
DMV 2 Go is a full-service DMV office on wheels. The vehicle is environmentally friendly and outfitted with three customer-service kiosks and staff to help residents with vehicle-related transactions.

Customers can do everything they would normally do at a DMV brick-and-mortar location, including take their driver’s license road test.
